The Capitol Lofts building was originally constructed in the early 1900's, and was known at the time as the M.E. Foster Building. This downtown building served as general office and retail space for nearly a century. In 1998, the building was renovated and completely converted as a Downtown Houston loft project -- now known as Capitol Lofts.
