  • Bayou Lofts features a central location in Downtown Houston, just a block away from Allen’s landing (Houston’s founding site and original port).
  • The building was home to Southern Pacific Railroad for 85 years.  Spire Reality converted the 1910 office building to residential in 1997.
  • The building features 9 floors with 108 units and 14 penthouses. Each unit features interiors that fit modern-day lifestyle while maintaining its original 1900’s era appeal.
  • Residents are few minutes away from Texas Medical Center.
  • Preston MetroRail station is few blocks away from the building. All 3 MetroRail (Red, Green and Purple) lines converge in Main Street, Downtown Houston, less than a mile from Bayou Lofts.

Residents are only 2 blocks away from Preston Station with 10 minute and 20 minute travel time to Museum District and Texas Medical Center, respectively. Green Link Bus is a free transportation service within Downtown. The environment friendly bus’ 2.5-mile route has 18 stops that connects eight hotels, the George R.
