For their 54th season, Houston Grand Opera has an impressive mix of established favorites, rarely performed masterpieces and new works, including an original opera by André Previn.
Other shows include Verdi's classic Rigoletto and Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Subscribers can enjoy six evenings of opera at the Wortham Theater Center for less than $68 - a steal!
The Houston Symphony offers classical subscriptions starting at $99 and pops subscriptions starting at $95. The classical season will feature performers such as cellist Yo-Yo Ma and conductor Leonard Slatkin, while the pops season will include Wayne Brady and Bill Cosby - all from the symphony's home at Jones Hall.
