HEALTHY LIVING IN THE PARK

Downtown Green Market: Central City Co-op at Discovery Green

Thursdays | 4 - 7:30 pm | Free Admission |
Andrea and Bill White Promenade

A year-round weekly co-op market offering organic produce and locally grown products.

Pilates in the Park

Tuesdays | 6 pm | Free Admission | Anheuser-Busch Stage

Flexibility and strength training led this week by Victoria Arzipe.

Dancing under the Stars

Tuesdays | 7 to 8 pm | Free Admission | Anheuser-Busch Stage

Ballroom dance classes led by Alex Arzipe from TUTS Humphreys School of Theatrical Arts.

Zumba!

Wednesdays | 6 pm | Free Admission | Grace Event Lawn

Zumba takes over the world! It's not a workout - it's a party! Taught by certified personal trainer Oscar Sajche.

Yoga in the Park

CHILDREN'S EVENTS

Young Writers Workshop in the Park

Saturdays | 10:30 am | Free Admission | HPL Express in The Lake House Building

The city's only open, free writing workshop for kids presented by WITS and HPL Express continues through July.

Discovery Green programming slows down in the summer. Exercise and the Green Market continue along with some special events. Please check the schedule online. We'll come back with a full season of concerts, films, special events and more in September '08.

Glass Gazebo, an installation by Dan Phillips, a Huntsville artist whose innovative structures made of scrap materials have attracted worldwide attention, is on display until September 8.
