American Idol star RUBEN STUDDARD headlines the Houston International Jazz Festival at Discovery Green.
Also featured: ANGEL LANE BRASS BAND and SUMMER JAZZ WORKSHOP ALL-STARS. This two day festival is a family affair with music, arts & crafts, and food & beverages. Houston International Jazz Festival preserves and shares this great American music with fans around the world. Proceeds support jazz education for Houston youth.

Discovery Green programming slows down in the summer. Exercise and the Green Market continue along with some special events. Check the schedule. We'll come back with a full season of concerts, films, special events and more in September.
Glass Gazebo an installation by Dan Phillips, a Huntsville artist whose innovative structures made of scrap materials have attracted worldwide attention, is on display from June 12 to September 8.
