Thanks to the hard work and dedication of Houston Loft developer Frank Garvey, The Franklin Lofts emerged as a new Houston loft project in 2002.
Originally completed in 1905, this eight-story, neoclassical commercial building now known as Franklin Lofts was the first steel-framed structure in Houston. At that time, the Franklin Loft building (then known as the First National Bank building) was the tallest building in Texas.
