“Houston Properties (Holly Hernandez and her team, specifically) were great to work with. We listed at the tail end of the buying craze that peaked in May 2023. So, we didn't close until about 6 months after we first listed. Holly will tell you that we were challenging clients - we had specific stipulations for showings and were not always as pleasant as we should've been. But, through it all, HPT was professional and worked very hard to get our home sold. Thank you!” - Eric James Richie (Google Review)

Caceres TX History

The area now known as Rice Military used to be part of tracts from the Rice family and the Howe family. Both tracts were acquired by Bankers Trust Co. in 1910 and later developed into a subdivision.

During the 1990s and 2000s, young professionals and artists were drawn to the neighborhood and the influx of demand sparked new development in the area.

In 2006, Y-H Sabinal acquired 8 acres of land roughly bordered by Reinerman, Feagan, and Detering Streets. Two home builders were tapped for the upscale gated community: Rohe & Wright (Winfield Gate, 1714 Ashland, Crain Square, and Bell Heights) and Black Diamond.

Caceres opened in March 2008.
