Coles Crossing is a master-planned community in Cypress, Texas, located approximately 27 miles northwest of downtown Houston. It was developed in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and it is home to over 2,600 residents.

The area that is now Coles Crossing was originally part of the larger community of Cypress, which was founded in the early 1800s. Farmers and ranchers settled in the area, and it grew slowly over the years. In the early 1900s, the town of Cypress was incorporated and became a popular destination for tourists.

In the 1990s, the area that is now Coles Crossing was identified as a prime location for development. The land was relatively inexpensive and close to major transportation routes.
