Harborwalk TX History

Harborwalk is a gated community formerly known as Flamingo Isles. Flamingo Isles was originally planned by John Mecom Sr. back in 1950.

Development started in the 1960s but was delayed due to financial challenges. It was later acquired by Mike Watkins in 1998 as a continuation.

Since then, Mike Watkins has headed the operation. He also renamed Flamingo Isles to Harborwalk due to inaccurate island descriptions. Now, Harborwalk is a developing community made to offer quality living.
