Jordan Ranch is nestled about a mile south of Interstate 10 (Katy Freeway). The master-planned community covers 1,350 acres, located within the city of Fulshear’s extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ). Homes within the community, however, mostly bear Brookshire addresses.
Jordan Ranch sits about 4 miles west of the city of Katy, north of Fulshear, and east of Brookshire.
The master-planned community is one of the newest developments in the Fulshear-Katy area. Fulshear is home to several fast-growing master-planned communities, including Cross Creek Ranch, Tamarron, and Fulbrook.
Jordan Ranch’s master plan sets aside around 250 acres for parks, creeks, and green space, as well as 450,000 square feet of commercial space, churches, and schools. The community is set to have over 3,000 homes upon completion.

Jordan Ranch homes are zoned to schools from Lamar Consolidated Independent School District (LCISD).
Lamar Consolidated Independent School District, or Lamar CISD, has received a “Met Standard” rating from the Texas Education Agency in 2013. It was given an Excellence in Education award by HEB in 2009.
