Located just off Interstate 10, Nottingham Country is one of the neighborhoods that make up Kelliwood. The community is south of Interstate 10, east of Westgreen Boulevard, west of Fry Road, and north of Highland Knolls Drive.
Several master-planned communities, including Green Trails, Windsor Park Estates, Windsor Park Lakes, Cimarron, West Memorial, and Kingsland, surround the neighborhood.
Nottingham Country is part of the Kelliwood development, spearheaded in the 1970s by Kickerillo Companies. The community is made up of 10 sections, 9 of which are under the Nottingham Country Community Improvement Association. The association is responsible for upholding covenant restrictions, maintaining common areas, and providing additional security.

The Greater Katy area, now made up of subdivisions and master-planned communities, grew around the city of Katy and Houston. The area was mostly farms and cattle ranches during the 1940s.
Some communities like Cimarron and West Memorial were developed during the 1960s and 1970s, though development in the area started in earnest in the 1980s. A number of master-planned communities (Cinco Ranch, Kelliwood, and Green Trails) took root later, during the 1980s.
Kickerillo Companies developed Nottingham Country as part of the much larger Kelliwood community. In the late 1970s up until the 80s during development, the community was known as an upscale neighborhood with great communities.
Today, Nottingham Country still draws homebuyers with its beautiful brick homes and mature trees.
Thanks to the neighborhood’s excellent location, Nottingham Country residents are mere minutes away from entertainment and retail centers, as well as outdoor activity hubs. Though mostly residential, a number of commercial establishments are just outside the borders of the community, particularly along Interstate 10 and Fry Road. A few blocks away, more stores, restaurants, cafes, and bars can be found along Mason Road.
For more retail options, residents can take a short drive to Katy Mills Mall or Cinco Ranch’s mixed use development, the LaCenterra.
Residents don’t have to go very far to enjoy green spaces, as Rennie Park and Nottingham Country Park are both located within the community. Other community amenities include a community center, tennis courts, a playground, and a swimming pool.
For more outdoor activities, George Bush Park is easily accessible from Nottingham Park homes. Residents can enjoy the park’s many activity areas, including playgrounds, nature trails, sports fields, and even an airfield for model aircraft.
