Kolbe Farms’ development started in 2011 under InTown Homes. Kempwood Investments and InTown acquired the property ten years prior when it was a horse stable called Spring Branch Stables.

Kolbe Farms’ first phase of development includes 250 homes. The 9 acres of the community were reserved for amenities and green spaces. The community includes both single-family homes and townhomes.

The gated community is named for Karl Kolbe, Spring Branch’s earliest settler.
