Memorial Close In is a historic neighborhood located in the heart of Houston. The area has a rich history that dates back to World War I when it was part of the Camp Logan military reservation.

After the war, the land was sold to developers. Then, it was turned into a residential neighborhood. One of the most notable developers of the area was William C. Hogg.
