The Collegeview area in Houston is located just south of West University Place, to the west of Southside Place, and to the north of Braeswood. You also have Rice University in the northeast.

First, you have close proximity to the colleges in Houston.

Also, you’ll be near Bellaire and the Galleria on the west. Aside from enjoying an inner loop residence, you also get to live in one of the fast-rising property areas in Houston.

The University Boulevard is at the north of Collegeview, so you can easily take that route going to Rice University and towards the center of Houston for some Uptown and Downtown action.

And, being close to the world-class colleges and universities in Houston, Collegeview is a great spot for college students and academic professionals. And through the 610 loop, you can have easy access to other parts of the city.

Collegeview is one of Houston’s newer residences, with most houses built during the 1980s. You can still see old-style buildings, but they are not that many in the area.

For outdoor recreation, you have many parks near the area to choose from. In the southwest, you can go to the Russ Pitman Park, or go to the Karl E. Young Park in the Braeswood area.

In the west near the loop, you have the Field Park on Beech St. So, when it comes to family activities, there are several parks where you can do many outdoor activities with your family and friends.

The real estate market in Collegeview is one of the fastest-rising ones in Houston.

The median price of a piece of property in Collegeview is more than $600,000.

Also, the average number of bedrooms is three, bathrooms are usually more than two, and the lot measures 5,700 sq. ft on the average.

Buildings in the area are relatively new, with most of these structures built around 1987. The median price for a square foot in the area is at $249.

The rates have shown no signs of slowing down.
