Do you have a knack for crafting compelling content across platforms? We're looking for a detail-oriented wordsmith to create high-converting content that dominates the Houston real estate market. As a content writer, you'll be crafting, refining, and optimizing engaging content across platforms, driving leads and propelling HPT's success in the Houston real estate market.

What You'll Do

As the team's Content Writer, your main role is to craft and ensure the quality of the written materials for our real estate team. Your responsibilities include:

Creating engaging, SEO-friendly content for digital platforms like the company website, social media accounts, and email campaigns
Creating engaging articles and other written materials to showcase our listings and expertise in the real estate market
Researching industry trends, market insights, and competitor activities to stay informed and generate relevant content
Creating value-rich content and fact-checking any data collected
Editing and proofreading content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines

What We Look For

To be successful in this role, a good candidate must have the following:

General Requirements:

Strong work ethic and self-motivation
Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)

Minimum Qualifications:

At least high school diploma, not currently studying
Full-time availability with no conflicting commitments
At least 1 year of proven experience as a content writer
Experience in real estate is a plus, but not required
Ability to adapt writing styles that fit the company's needs

Tech Requirements:

Processor: Intel Core-i3 (8th generation onwards) or equivalent AMD Ryzen or Apple M1 chips (preferred Intel Core-i5)
Memory: 8GB+ RAM
Available Hard Disk Drive Space: At least 1GB
Operating System - Windows OS: Windows 10 or later / Mac OS: Mac OS 11 or later
Internet: Main connection (at least 50 Mbps; fiber or DSL) / Backup connection (at least 20 Mbps)
Headset: With noise-canceling feature and a microphone
Working camera / webcam for virtual meetings

Technical Skills

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word & Canva
Basic knowledge of SEO & keyword research
Basic knowledge of graphic design is a plus, but not required
