The Houston Properties Team is on the lookout for a keen-eyed and passionate Listing Marketing Specialist. If you are passionate about data, and writing, and have great attention to detail, you're the one for the job!

As a listing marketing specialist, your role will involve crafting compelling property descriptions, photo descriptions, and other marketing materials while adhering to accuracy, brand consistency, and meeting deadlines.

What You'll Do

As a listing marketing specialist, having accurate and compelling material is a must. Your responsibilities include:

Collecting, fact-checking, and interpreting data to develop marketing deliverables
Crafting compelling copies and other written materials, including property descriptions, photo captions, email campaigns, and feedback reports
Creating marketing collaterals such as flyers and brochures to showcase our listings
Editing and proofreading content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines
Prioritizing tasks based on urgency to meet deadlines

What We Look For

An ideal Listing Marketing Specialist should possess the following:

General Requirements:

Strong work ethic and self-motivation
Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)

Minimum Qualifications

At least a high school diploma, not currently studying
Full-time availability with no conflicting commitments
At least 2 years of experience in a real estate company or working for an individual real estate agent
Experience in Texas real estate is a plus, but not required
Can adapt writing styles that fit the company's needs
Portfolio of written works

Tech Requirements

Processor - Intel Core-i3 (8th Generation) or equivalent AMD Ryzen or Apple M1 chips
Memory - 8GB+ RAM
Available Hard Disk Drive Space - At least 1GB
Operating System - Windows OS: Windows 10 or later / Mac OS: Mac OS X 10.8 or later
Internet: Main connection (at least 50 Mbps; fiber or DSL) / Backup connection (at least 20 Mbps)
Headset - with noise-canceling feature and a microphone
Working camera / webcam for virtual meetings

Technical Skills

Exceptional writing, proofreading, and research skills
Experience with content management systems
Intermediate knowledge of Canva
Basic knowledge of Dropbox and MS Outlook
Basic knowledge of graphic design is a plus, but not required
Experience with HAR.com / HAR MLS system is a plus but not required
